What is the difference between the Memphis Brass Festival and a regular band camp?
The Memphis Brass Festival is a focused and fun week just for brass players. A band camp typically enrolls three to five hundred students while the Brass Festival is significantly smaller. Students will work primarily in large groups of no more than 25 and chamber groups of four to ten students. Each participant will receive personalized attention from each member of the Memphis Brass Quintet the entire week. For a talented and budding brass player there is no better way to spend a week of the summer than surrounded by professional brass faculty and world class guest artists.
I am going to graduate from high school or college this year. Can I still apply?
Yes. The Memphis Brass Festival is open to high school and college students.
What is the application fee? Should I send my application via express mail?
